In the absence of a Will, your partner may not, in fact inherit the whole of your Estate. By making a Will you can ensure that your wishes are carried out. You can also nominate the person or persons who will be responsible for dealing with your affairs (the executors) and those who will have custody of your children (the guardians).

Most importantly, making a Will enables you to choose who will benefit from your Estate.
