The Criminal Law Department of Brighouse Wolff is the largest and most experienced in the West Lancashire area and therefore whatever the reason you require advice or representation we should be able to help.
The department is led by Sheila Lloyd and Mike Hagerty, both partners with many years experience in all aspects of police station and court attendance and both of whom are members of the Law Society's Criminal Litigation Accreditation Scheme.
We offer 24 hours cover for police station attendance and representations at levels of court appearance including the Magistrates and Crown Court. We also offer defence representation for private prosecution by for example the Department of Social Security and the National Probation Service.
We hold a contract with the Criminal Defence Service, (formally the Legal Aid Board), and therefore should your case merit public funding, our services come free of charge irrespective of your means.
