A Compromise/Settlement Agreement is a written agreement between an Employer and Employee, usually entered into when an employment relationship is coming to an end. It is a legally binding agreement and sets out the terms on which the relationship will end.
It is a requirement for an Employee to obtain independent legal advice before signing a Compromise/Settlement Agreement.
